Can’t Be That Difficult

In an article posted on the Atlanta Journal-Constitution website, one genius reporter came up with the following within a story about afternoon showers…

As with the past few days, parts of Atlanta can expect from a quarter of an inch to a few inches, forecasters say.

And like most summer thunderstorms, lightning will be likely.

Yes, friends, apparently “lightning will be likely” during this thunderstorm. Because, after all, most thunderstorms contain lightning.

OK Einstein…

See kids, this is why you shouldn’t do drugs.

Jackson Is Nuts

More Double Standards

Another free pass…

Unless you’re living in a cave, you’ve heard it by now. An open microphone caught Jesse Jackson threatening Barack Obama’s balls before a scheduled interview.

“See, Barack [has] been talking down to black people . . . I wanna cut his nuts out,” Jackson said.

But, all is well now because Jesse apologized and this incident will soon be forgotten.

Of course, when Michael Richards says “nigger” at an adult comedy club, the entire world stops turning, he’s shunned by the community, labeled a racist, makes multiple public apologies and has to attend racial diversity counseling.

Personally, I’d much rather be called a nigger, or a cracker in my case, than have someone threaten to cut my nuts off. Not only did Jackson insult Obama, he has insulted the entire nut-owning community. I am personally offended by his comments, and I demand restitution.

Dumbass Treatment

Dumbass Treatment

My Proposal

Is there anyone that does not agree that we really need to legalize punching dumbasses in the face?

You know, only when justified of course.

There’s that certain group of people - The Dumbasses - that really could benefit from the sort of behavioral management that a punch in the face can offer. Sadly, this Dumbass group grows in number with each passing day, as there seems to be no specific entrance exam or prerequisites… Other than being a dumbass.

A perfect example of a dumbass in need of a face-punching is portrayed in this article which from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

Police seek woman who threw kitten from moving car

By JOSE PAGLIERY
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Published on: 07/09/08

Atlanta police are looking for a woman who reportedly threw a gray kitten out of her moving car.

According to Elasha Germain, a specialist at the Atlanta Humane Society, a red-haired woman in her mid-50s tried to leave three cats at the center on June 21. When Germain told her the center was full and could not take any more animals, the woman turned violent — on the cats.

A police report states the woman violently shook the crate holding the cats as she walked back to her red Ford Focus. When Germain said she’d call police to report the act of animal cruelty, the woman tossed the crate into her car and drove off.

But before she got far down the road, the woman flung one of the kittens out the window, Germain told police.

Despite their efforts, center officials could not find the kitten.

Germain said the woman had come to the Atlanta Humane Society earlier in the day, but was referred to Fulton County Animal Control. When the Fulton center’s officials told her Saturday was not an “owner surrender day,” she returned to the Humane Society.

Police were provided the woman’s car tag but no arrest has been made, according to Atlanta police officer Eric Schwartz.

Now, come on, is there a single person out there that doesn’t agree with punching this dumbass in the face?

Normally I’d give a free pass to a redhead, but not in the case of kitten abuse.

Marxist America

Marxist America

It’s Closer Than You Think

House Democrats yesterday called for the government to own refineries so it could better control the flow of the oil supply.

Representative Maurice Hinchey (D-NY) said “We (the government) should own the refineries. Then we can control how much gets out into the market.”

Excuse me Rep. Hinchey… It appears that you might need some help removing your head from your ass.

Honestly, who the fuck votes for these imbeciles?

The last thing our country needs is the government owning anything related to oil, gasoline, or refineries.

What is the government’s track record on:

  • Public schools?
  • Social Security?
  • Veterans Hospitals?
  • FEMA?
  • Balancing budgets?
  • Tax code?
  • Immigration?
  • Border enforcement?

Government control of services and consumer goods has another name by definition: Socialism.

Change

Change

Yeah, Right.

The geniuses in Washington D.C. continue to amaze me with their incompetance.

Today, the U.S. House of Representatives (Democrat controlled by the way) passed a bill allowing the U.S. to sue OPEC for high oil prices.

In part:

The House overwhelmingly approved legislation Tuesday allowing the Justice Department to sue OPEC members for limiting oil supplies and working together to set crude prices, but the White House threatened to veto the measure.

The bill would subject OPEC oil producers, including Saudi Arabia, Iran and Venezuela, to the same antitrust laws that U.S. companies must follow.

Yeah, this is going to work out real well…

First, such an action is not enforceable. Does anyone really think the Saudis give a rat’s ass what American courts “order” them to do? They have the oil, they win.

Second, take a guess at how quickly such an action will push OPEC to sell yet more oil to China, and less to the U.S.

All this in order to try to tell voters they did “something” about gas prices. It’s a very sad situation that our representatives have drafted this legislation that has no basis in international law and is so belligerent that even Bush has threatened a veto if it passes due to the obvious consequences.

The members of Congress who drafted this and those who voted in favor should have their balls nailed to the wall - because this is a clear showing of incompetence and lack of understanding of the even basics of Law and Governance.

I Was Right

I Was Right

Are You Surprised?

In my previous Victoria Lindsay related posts, I noted that the sentence imposed for the eight jackasses arrested in this case would be somewhat irrelevant, as they will all end up back in jail for various other offenses anyhow. In other words - a complete waste of life.

Well, it didn’t take long at all to prove I was right (but, when am I not?).

The award for Top Dumbass goes to eighteen year-old Mr Stephen Schumaker, originally accused of serving as a lookout during the beating, and charged with felony counts accordingly. It seems that this dumbass is back in jail, booked into the Polk County jail last Tuesday and charged with driving with a suspended license.

So, who will be next? Any guesses?

Put me down for $20 on Mercades Nichols, who I predict will violate her pre-trial conditions before long.

Please visit all of the Victoria Lindsay related posts on Blog About Nothing, and continue to show your support.

You Must Be Kidding

Because We Have It So Good

President George W. Bush on Thursday called for the United States to offer $770 million in new global food aid in an effort to stem rising food prices threatening to spread social unrest in the developing world.

Can our president possibly be more out of touch with the average American citizen?

It’s not the obligation of the United States to subsidize the world - especially when we’re facing our own economic and housing crisis. During times of great prosperity - I can understand that.

How about subsidizing my gasoline, dumbass?

Free Gas

Free Gas

Because Morons Need Gas Too

A few days ago I read a report that gasoline thieves are resorting to “drilling holes in gas tanks” of parked vehicles, then collecting the free-flowing gas.

Am I the only one thinking this problem will pretty quickly resolve itself?

Sure, it might work a few times, then Bubba will simply see an extremely bright flash, feel some intense heat, and will meet Jesus. This, of course, will present that awkward moment where he has to explain to Jesus what he was doing under that stranger’s car with the drill and the drip pan.

I’m certain that as the price of gas continues to rise, we’ll see more and more of these “ingenious” schemes revealed. I just hope some of them are caught on video.

Stupidity

It’s Not Just For Florida Anymore

Not Again

Not to be outdone by the stupidity in Florida, a group of southern Indiana middle school girls apparently videotaped the beating of a 12-year-old schoolmate, and because it worked out so well in Florida, proceeded to post the video on popular video and photo sharing site, PhotoBucket.

According to police, on April 12, 2008, the girls lured the victim to a parking lot near a warehouse in the town just north of Louisville, KY and videotaped the ensuing violence.

The video begins with one girl arguing with the victim. This quickly escalates into a fight during which the 12-year-old is repeatedly hit in the head as the other girls watch and laugh.

The suspects are between the ages of 12 and 14, and police are still conducting interviews so charges have not yet been filed.

It is believed that this act of violence was inspired by the highly publicized beating of Victoria Lindsay earlier this month.

It can only be assumed that these little geniuses saw the results of the Florida case – in which each of the suspects have been charged as adults and face up to life in prison – and thought “Hey, this is a great idea! Let’s beat someone up and videotape it!”.

Clearly, there needs to be a lot more beating going on in this country, and we should start with the parents of these little jackasses.

Sebral Thoughts

Sebral Thoughts

Maybe Even More

Blog About Nothing is actually part of a much larger portfolio of blogs and websites, called Sebral Network.

While conducting some SEO (search engine optimization) testing recently, I noticed a strange pattern of “sebral” in search results. At first I wasn’t making the connection - but some actual Google search hits were:

“sebral months”

“raped sebral times”

“sebral of us”

…and there were countless others.

It wasn’t until I actually let my mind go - in other words, I stopped thinking - that it occurred to me that people are interchanging “sebral” with “several”.

Then, I was only able to put my head into my hands and wonder to myself just how much further the English language will be destroyed.
