Not As Much As You Think You Are
It’s amazing what you can discover about someone with a simple keylogger. It’s also amazing what friends, kids, spouses, and employees will reveal online to virtual strangers, stalkers, and competitors.
If you really want to know what sort of information is being shared from a computer, you should consider a good keylogger utility. Once the data has been logged, it’s pretty difficult for someone to deny what they’ve shared with others.

Vintage Collection
I’m noticing an interesting trend in fashion lately – a wonderful resurgence of vintage clothing and styles.
From Wayfarer sunglasses to vintage 70s and early 80s hats and shirts, there is a definite blast from past occurring.
Hopefully this will be limited to the “good” fashions from that era. There are some things that I’d rather not see again, unless I’m watching the Brady Bunch on late night TV.
Save Money Easily

With No Regrets
Tell me, how’s the economy on your side of town?
Yeah, it’s about the same on this side.
Let’s face it, the national – and global – economy of 2007 and 2008 has taken its toll on all of us. Some people have been hit harder than others, and different families have different financial tolerances to these hard times. But one thing is indisputable; everyone has felt the effects of this downturn. There are no budgets that aren’t under close scrutiny and evaluation right now, whether they are the budget of a business or a family.
Many people are finding they can save quite a bit of money by simply eliminating certain “luxuries” such as premium cable channels or fast food lunches. They are also learning that many necessary expenditures can be purchased at discounted prices with a little smart shopping, such as eyeglasses.
Four out five members in my immediate family require corrective lenses. Purchasing four pairs of prescription glasses from Zenni Optical instead of the local big-marketing-budget franchise has a very significant and positive impact on our family budget.
Despite our initial skepticism regarding low-price lenses and glasses, we are now convinced that the quality is equal to that of the far more expensive competition. And, Zenni Optical has built a strong reputation on their exception customer service.
Really, the only regret is not discovering this great company sooner than we did.

Get It While You Can
For some reason, the line at the passport office was almost as long as the line at the “advance voting” polling location this morning.
I wonder if there’s something being revealed there…
Sure, all of those people in line just might be suddenly interested in traveling to great destinations around the world – you know, all of a sudden. Or, they might be trying to escape from the seemingly inevitable future lying ahead of them here.

Some Things Are Better In Standard Def
You know, I’m not so sure that I’m all that fond of HDTV – or more specifically, what it’s done to my perception of my favorite Hollywood starlets.
Suddenly, instead of seeing the “beauty” in the previously hot actresses, I only see a lot of girls in great need of acne skin care treatment and electrolysis.
Gee, I’m almost starting to think that maybe Hollywood is full of fake celebrity beauty.

The Test of Time
Dragon NaturallySpeaking from Nuance Communications is one of those incredible products that seems to have been around almost forever, yet remains light years ahead of the competition. I remember using early versions of this software back in the early 1990s and was amazed at its capabilities even then.
Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 continues the tradition and builds upon the reputation set by its predecessors.

Press Release:
The video above was created by a blogger that goes by the name, SuperZ.I couldn’t write that name before using Dragon NaturallySpeaking until I trained Dragon NaturallySpeaking to recognize the name SuperZ. I mention that because I’m using Dragon NaturallySpeaking right now to write this article (notice Dragon new when I said the words right now that I meant the word right and not the word to write).
I’ve been writing articles and reviews about Dragon NaturallySpeaking for close to two years. I’ve had a lot of experience with the software, and I wanted to reach out to other bloggers and see what they thought of the software.
SuperZ tried out the software and as you can see from his own video, the results that he’s getting after having used the software for just a week are pretty amazing. His computer is keeping up with just about every word that he says, and typing those words out for him in text.
Well frankly that’s exactly what Dragon NaturallySpeaking is supposed to do these days and it lives up to its claim of achieving 99% accuracy and I’ve clocked it typing faster than its claims of 150 words per minute.
That’s right you can type 150 words a minute with Dragon NaturallySpeaking. You do have to spend a little time editing from time to time, but you type so fast that editing doesn’t take that long. You get the typing done faster and the editing is a breeze because you only have to look at the way that you phrased words. Dragon NaturallySpeaking almost never makes a spelling mistake. It types out the entire word based on the vocabulary that has stored in the machine. So it really can’t misspell a word it’s pulling the word straight out of a dictionary.
The only exception might be the case when you run into a name like SuperZ, which is not in your dictionary yet. When you run across a name like that, all you have to do is add it into your dictionary and train the software to recognize that new word or name. It just takes a second and after that you’ll be able to say SuperZ all you like and Dragon NaturallySpeaking will know exactly what you are talking about.
Sincerely,
Brett Bumeter

www.softduit.comPS this article includes about 381 words that I wrote with Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10. It took me about 4 minutes to write and 4 minutes to edit this article. The writing time included the short amount of time it took to train dragon to recognize the name SuperZ. Editing took 4 minutes because I’ve been working all night and I’m not reading too fast! J
Its Your Business

If You Want It
Sunday’s are so depressing… Another weekend flies by way too quickly, then back to the office for another 50 plus hour week. I really need to find a great small business opportunity soon.
Granted, I’d still be working on Monday. In fact, I’d likely be working the weekend as well. But, at least I’d be working for myself and not just helping my boss pay for that new addition on his house.
Productivity

Depends How You Define It
I still don’t understand why my productivity doesn’t increase when I add more computer memory to my laptop like I just did recently.
Oh, sure, Spore plays much smoother and provides a much more enjoyable experience. Heck, there’s even a nice improvement in Civilization IV and Sims 2.
On the other hand, uninstalling the games might very well be the most direct way to increase productivity.
Foot Fetish

And OCD
I have foot cancer.
OK, maybe it’s Plantar Fasciitis.
Oh, sure, I could be overreacting. But, my foot hurts – so it has to be “something”.
I did step in a hole when I was mowing. But, no… That couldn’t be it. Well, I guess it could be.
On the other hand, maybe stepping in the hole only hurt my foot because of the Plantar Fasciitis… Or the foot cancer.
Maybe I should just stop reading about various ailments and diseases on the Internet.
Corvette Summer

Now I Need One
My neighbor got a new car cover.
I really don’t like him anymore.
Actually, it’s not about the car cover. It’s the Corvette that is being protected by it.
Oh, sure, he’s been driving and old piece of junk for the past 8 years, so he did save up for it. And, he does work from his home so the price of gas isn’t relevant.
But, still, this is enough reason to not like him.
