Results from a new CNN poll (and CNN ranks amongst the most liberal of media) reveal that after 6 months, more people view Obama’s presidency as a ‘failure’ than Bush’s.

How much are politicians straining to convince people that the government is stimulating the economy? In Oregon, where lawmakers are spending $176 million to supplement the federal stimulus, Democrats are taking credit for a remarkable feat: creating 3,236 new jobs in the program’s first three months.
But those jobs lasted on average only 35 hours, or about one work week. After that, those workers were effectively back unemployed, according to an Associated Press analysis of state spending and hiring data. By the state’s accounting, a job is a job, whether it lasts three hours, three days, three months, or a lifetime.

The honeymoon is over folks, and Obama’s true colors are shining brightly now. We now know that “hope” = “socialism” and “change” = “more of the same”.
What do you call a person who, after admitting to not knowing the facts, insults a person of one race while siding with a person of another, based upon nothing more than skin color and prejudice?
Last I knew, that person would be a textbook example of a racist.

President Barack Obama plunged his presidency into a charged racial debate and set off a firestorm with police officers nationwide by siding with a prominent black scholar who accuses police of racism.
Saying he was unaware of “all the facts” but that police in Cambridge, Massachusetts, “acted stupidly” in their arrest of Harvard’s Henry Louis Gates, Obama whipped up emotions on both sides of an issue that threatens to open old wounds.
“The President has alienated public safety officers across the country by his comments,” said David Holway, president of the International Brotherhood of Police Officers, which represents 15,000 public security officials.

Don’t Say You Weren’t Warned
Obama… I’m still left wondering, is he knowingly lying to the American people or is he really this stupid?
I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that the first stimulus and omnibus plans were just the largest political kickbacks in history. Or, more accurately, the largest theft in history.
Remember when he campaigned how he said he wanted to create a bipartisan administration? His policies and bills completely ignore opposing thought. So much for bipartisanship.
Remember when he said he wanted 5 days to post the bills for public viewing before signing? Now the Congressmen don’t even get to read the bills before they are signed. How about his creation of 37 czars? So much for transparency.
Remember when he said he would eliminate special interest and lobbying in Washington? He’s attempted to put lobbyists into his cabinets as well as several tax cheats. So much for integrity.
Remember when he said he wouldn’t raise taxes on the middle class? Bend over and get ready for “cap & trade”, increased capital gains, fewer tax breaks, sin tax on alcohol and tobacco, and I’m sure a national sales tax is on the way.
Don’t even get me started on GM, Chrysler, AIG, Goldmans, and the rest.
This is a disaster.

Voters Losing Hope
Oh-oh… Not looking so good for Obama in the latest USA Today/Gallup Poll, which indicates a 55% approval rating – a new low for B.O. in his continued slide of approval amongst American voters.
2012 might almost be too easy.
The 55% rating puts him 10th among the dozen presidents who have served since World War II at this point in their tenures… And below Jimmy Carter, arguably the worst president in the history of our nation (perhaps soon to be second-worst).
Keep up the great work Obama! Woo! Hope! Change!

Another day, another price increase for a gallon of gasoline.
Just want to say thank you for that, Mr. Obama.
The price of gas has rising steadily, on a daily basis, over the past 2 months. However, unlike in the past, demand is NOT increasing. In fact, demand is decreasing.
The current price increases are a direct result of continued increases in the price of crude, with crude oil itself responding to a flight from the weaker dollar on the expectation of rising inflation from federal monetary policy.
Once again, as soon as the federal government gets involved, the shit hits the fan.
Oh, you’re going to love that nationalized healthcare…

This is ridiculous.
Obama and his flunkies are spinning the “U.S. loses just 345,000 jobs in May, raising hopes” headlines as an indicater of an improving economy.
That’s still 345,000 additional people without jobs! And, have you tried to get a job lately?
Jesus H. Christ.
Our economy will be in much worse shape one year from now, and they’re pretending it’s okay and getting better? Haha. Well I guess this is what you’d expect from the people who “never saw it coming.”
What keeps me sticking to conclusions that I’ve posted above is simply by looking at what’s happening. The economic troubles of decades ago were a completely different situation. Back then Americans were more productive and saved more. For the most part the American consumers were not up to their eye-balls in debt, and consumption was not over 70% of the GDP.
We are $13 trillion in debt with another $50 trillion in obligations. You don’t see a problem with that?
Can’t you see that the proposed solutions of more consumership, more regulation, more borrowing, more spending, and inflating are the causes to our problems in the first place?
Since our economy has shifted from goods production to a service sector, Americans don’t produce anything anymore. We just buy a bunch of junk on credit from the Asians and then they just buy up all our treasury bills and bonds.
Its not a good situation…
