Would You Expect Anything Else From Florida?
Just hours ago, prosecutors in the Victoria Lindsay beating case announced they are dropping charges against Cara Murphy, 16, Stephen Schumaker, 18, and Zachary Ashley, 17 – who had faced kidnapping and battery charges in the case.
The State Attorney’s office noted the same explanation for each of them, “Further investigation has shown that there is insufficient evidence to proceed with charges against the defendant.”
Can anyone say “state’s witnesses”?
Obviously, the state is gearing up for the criminal trials of the remaining defendants by securing testimony from these jackasses.
Tori has a lot of friends out there now though. I wouldn’t advise these three to stray far from the safety of their own homes.
Just sayin’…
