You may have read in one of my recent posts that I am planning a business trip to the U.K. in consideration of a job offer. I’ve learned of an interesting service since I first wrote that.
Since this is a decision which will affect my entire family, my wife and children will be joining me for part of the trip. We have only a limited amount of time in England, but would like to visit other destinations in Europe to combine a bit of rest and relaxation with the business trip.
A website which my business associate in the U.K. suggested is miniBreaks.com. They make it very easy to plan and book short holidays at any of over 36,000 hotels in the United States, Europe and throughout the world.
With our schedule and my business obligations in North England, the weekend breaks in the Lake District are the most appealing. The folks at miniBreaks.com have provided us with the means to book this in three quick steps, and we have the peace of mind knowing that room availability is guaranteed.
We are also considering the short breaks in Devon as well, but haven’t yet made finalized our itinerary.
We’ll be traveling to Amsterdam as well during this trip, and I’ve just found that miniBreaks has short break packages there also. They make it easy to research, because the rates quoted are “per room” and not “per person”. This is very important when travelling with the family.
With booking a holiday being this easy, we may just take many more short break holidays.
