Student Driver

Everybody Panic!

My oldest daughter will be of legal driving age next week. I suppose the next six days are my last hope of having an auto insurance quote for an amount less than my mortgage payment.

Of course, before she drives I’ll need to fill the car completely with Styrofoam packing peanuts, wrap the entire outside in industrial strength bubble-wrap, and set a governor for a maximum speed of 12 MPH.

Then, maybe in a year or so, I’ll actually let her leave the driveway.
