The HDPE Solution

It’s Right In Front Of Us
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) has been around since 1951 and almost instantly had an impact on millions of people as it was the material used to make hula hoops. And, who didn’t have a hula hoop in the 1950’s?
As the years passed, the use of HDPE has spread to a wide range of applications, from milk and water bottles, to toys and automotive parts. It’s safe to say that you will use an HDPE based product everyday for the rest of your life. If in doubt, just look under your sink.
HDPE Pipes are one of the most popular plumbing solutions used today, both inside the home and out. Considered and industry standard by many, HDPE pipes are usually the first choice for drainage applications, but are used with increasing frequency in other pluming applications as well.
Actually, I wish I could build my entire house out of this material. Termites aren’t interested in HDPE pipes. Neither are woodpeckers. And they never need painting.
Hmmm… I may have just thought of my next business venture.
