Wax On, Wax Off

Go For Quality
There are a few things I never let someone else do to my vehicles if I can avoid it. And they are two of the easiest maintenance tasks to perform. Oil changes and detailing.
The fact that they are easy is exactly the reason I don’t trust others to perform the work. If you need a transmission replaced, or some troubleshooting on the electrical system, chances are a qualified automotive technician will be assigned the task.
But, oil changes? This is usually assigned to some high school kid.
Detailing? I’ve yet to find a detailer that speaks English.
I apply a high quality car wax twice each year, just before summer and just before winter. This has proven to work well, and protects the finish during the two harshest seasons. And by using only quality Lane’s Professional Car products I can be assured that protection will last between applications.
By detailing my vehicle myself, I know that only quality products are being used, no shortcuts have been taken, and no spots have been missed.
Now, if I could just keep the birds from using it for target practice…
