Thoughts On Lasik
Are you considering Lasik? Or, have you been scared off by recent news reports?
Someone very close to me is considering the Lasik option as I write this. Honestly, the recent media reports about problems after the Lasik procedure seem a blown out of proportion.
To me, it appears the problems result as a very small percentage of the total. Just as with anything else, the quality of the doctor performing the Lasik procedure should be the first consideration. So many people just gravitate toward the lowest price, without regard of the doctor’s qualifications. I’ve seen people put more consideration into the purchase of their new MP3 player than who they’ll allow to work on their eyes with a laser.
