It’s About Time
There are two kinds of people in this world. Those who wear watches and those who don’t.
OK, maybe there are other kinds of people as well, but we’re going to focus on these. Or, more specifically, those who do wear a watch. OK, it’s about me.
If I’m not sleeping, I need to have a watch on. I realize that I’m surrounded by clocks everywhere I go, and there’s the clock on the cell phone, in the car, on the computer, and sure, I could create a simple sundial if I were outside.
But, I still need to wear a watch.
Unfortunately, my watch broke on the same day my lawnmower broke – trust me, it’s an interesting story, but I’ll save that for another day.
Good things can come from this disaster though. I’ve found a Cartier watch that I absolutely must have. I’ve always been a fan of luxury watches, and Cartier got everything right with this one.
The Watchery (thewatchery.com) has the exact watch I want, and they have it for 15% below MSRP. It’s difficult to find Cartier watches below list price, but The Watchery has an excellent selection, and they are all below list!
I wonder if I can convince them to throw in a free lawnmower with my watch purchase…
