Proper Training Is Essential
OK spring, I’m ready for you!
I’ve been determined to get back in shape before the start of “mountain biking season” this year, and have been using the treadmill more than I ever thought possible. I think it’s going to pay off.
Last year I did absolutely nothing to get in shape before hitting the trails on the mountain bike. Big mistake. I had incorrectly assumed that the biking itself would prepare me for the rest of the season. Instead, I just got tired too quickly and gave up riding for the most part.
Not this year. I’m ready, in shape, and the bike is about to go in for a tune up.
