I’m Giving Up Drinking

Bottled Spring Water That Is
For the past several years, my family have been bottled-spring-water-aholics. We would go through 2-3 cases per week.
I guess this was mostly my doing initially. It doesn’t cost “that much” in the grand scheme of things, and it’s very convenient to just grab an ice-cold bottle and continue on with your business or recreation.
Or so it seems, until you really evaluate the entire flow of bottled spring water through your home.
It’s really not that convenient to drive to the store and pick up 4 cases every week or so. It’s also not that convenient to carry them upstairs from my car. And, it’s never convenient when someone else has taken the last cold one from the fridge and didn’t put any more in.
So, I’m giving filtered tap water a go. The taste is fine, but the bottled water choice was never really about taste for me to begin with. And, there’s bound to be almost immediate cost savings. Cost savings that can be used for better things, like beer.
