I Demand Equality!
Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps (six and counting) consumes 12,000 calories per day in his diet.
If I consume 2,000 calories, I’ll gain 3 pounds.
This is not fair!
OK, granted, he probably does burn more calories during his competitions and daily conditioning than I do sitting on the couch playing video games. But, come on, I do play sports video games!
Wait, I’ll bet I know what it is. He’s quite a bit younger than me. Of course, why didn’t I think of that before? It can’t possibly have anything to do with the exercise.
Glad I thought of that… For a second there it was starting to look like I’d need to actually go outside and exert some energy.
