This post has absolutely nothing to do with political opinion - there will plenty of those coming up. This is merely observation. An observation that I made while tuning in occasionally to the Democratic National Convention.
If you are the intended presidential candidate, and you have already lost a certain number of votes because your name closely resembles that of a known terrorist mastermind, shouldn’t you be really careful when selecting your running mate?
You would have to know that your names will appear together on signs and bumper stickers across the nation.
I mean, come on…
Obama - Biden
Osama Bin Laden
I know that neither Obama not Biden are supporters of terrorism, and while I strongly disagree with each of them politically, I’m sure both are patriotic Americans.
But, I know that a combined name like this would never make it passed the marketing department of any Fortune 500 company.
Surely it will confuse Ted Kennedy, who was already confused by just plain ol’ “Obama”.
