Very Cool, But Now What?

Well, after being on the Google Voice waiting list for well over a year, I finally got my account, number, and I’m all set up.

Worth the wait?

I’ve been playing around with it for the weekend and it is definitely cool. Some very neat features, although the “transcription” service is still a bit on the rough side. Being Google though, I have no doubt that it will be improved.

Best of all, I was able to snag a really awesome phone number. I guess that in itself makes it worth it.

As for the rest of the service, I’ll give it a few months and see what happens.
